At LEH, we support Leiden University’s mission by fostering entrepreneurs, investing in startups and spinouts, and offering entrepreneurship education programs to bring research and innovation to market for societal and economic benefit.

Innovation meets entrepreneurship. PLNT is a foundation which stimulates innovation and entrepreneurship in the Leiden region. We are a pre-incubator with a vibrant startup community including office space, and many programs, training courses and events to support and stimulate startups.

unlock_ The Life Science Incubator in Leiden

Tailored  entrepreneurship programs dedicated to Life Science and Health startups and scaleups. Located on the Leiden Bio Science Park, unlock_ provides the structure, the program, the network and the instruments needed to turn an idea into a solution.

Enterprise Leiden Fonds Pre-seed

Enterprise Leiden Fonds Pre-seed, is a subsidiary fund of LEH which provides small early phase soft loans for starters in Leiden to further develop their business ideas. LEH is a partner in the UNIIQ fund

LEH is a partner in the UNIIQ fund, together with TU Delft, Erasmus MC and Innovation Quarter. UNIIQ provides enterprising technology startups in West Holland with seed capital in the form of a convertible loan to bridge the riskiest phase of their business development.

Libertatis Ergo Holding B.V. (LEH)

Libertatis Ergo Holding B.V. (LEH) is an independent, wholly owned subsidiary of Leiden University which creates, supports and invests in startup and spinout companies related to Leiden University’s activities, many of which are located on the Leiden Bio Science Park.

LURIS provides advice and support to researchers at Leiden University. This may include advice on research grants, collaborations, patenting, licensing and all the related legal agreements.

Team

The team at LEH combines deep academic insight with entrepreneurial expertise to drive innovation. With a strong presence on the Leiden Bio Science Park, they bridge research and real-world impact.
